GEA Inaugural Industry Awards
The Gladstone Engineering Alliance hosted the Inaugural Industry Awards this year, as part of the Golding Industry Conference, Gala Dinner.
The Awards where introduced to celebrate and recognize some of the most influential entrepreneurs and businesses who have been involved within industry in Central Queensland.
Awards on the night honoured two men who where know for their entrepreneurial skills and exceptional quality.
The Forty Calis memorial award recognises the achievements of an individual who has demonstrated an en entrepreneurial spirit to gain business success in the engineering and support sector.
The second award will pay tribute to a man who was known for quality in service or product; The Wayne Peachy memorial award is awarded to an individual who has displayed outstanding accomplishments in the past year and demonstrated exceptional quality in service or product.
The GEA is also proud to announce the inaugural Industry Hall of Fame established to recognise those outstanding individuals or businesses that can be held up as role models for the business community in Central Queensland.
