Charity Golf Day raised $5,000 for Bella the Brave
A total of 102 golfers made the most of the beautiful weather to help raise funds for Bella the Brave at the GEA Charity Golf Day.
In an overwhelming show of generosity the businesses and golfers who supported the day were able to raise $5,000 for Bella.
A huge THANK YOU to our sponsors
GEA wants to give a huge shout out to our principal partner KAEFER Integrated Services and event sponsors Alpha HPA, BOC, Concentis, Pructon, Avis, Sealink, Oaka Constructions QLD, Homeground, and Gladstone Golf Club. We also thank our major and minor hole sponsors and our supporters for helping to make this year's GEA Charity Golf Day the success that it was.
Gladstone Engineering Alliance’s 12th annual Charity Golf Day is the ideal environment for GEA members and non-members to network with one another outside of the office, develop future opportunities for collaboration, and give back to a local community charity.
The GEA Charity Gold Day includes a morning of networking at the Gladstone Club house, 18-hole golf tournament, lunch and will finish the day with prizes and an official presentation.
In 2022 we had 36 teams take part in the GEA Charity Golf Day; raising $4,000 for the Gladstone Region Awareness and Suicide Prevention. With your support we look forward to match that figure in 2023.

BELLA THE BRAVE
Bella the Brave aims to raise awareness and funds for research into childhood brain cancer. 100% of money raised is donated
to The Charlie Teo Foundation.
Bella’s Story
Bella then fought off a reoccurrence of her tumour in the latter part of 2017 and underwent 3 more brain surgeries. Dr Charlie Teo has been our saviour. He was able to remove the tumour where other neurosurgeons were unsuccessful. Bella’s future remains uncertain though due to the aggressive nature of her tumour.
