Gladstone Energy and Ammonia Project

Australian Future Energy Pty Ltd (“AFE”) is proposing the development of the Gladstone Energy and Ammonia Project (“GEAP”), which will provide for the annual production of : Approx. 330,000 tonnes of ammonia product; Approx. 8 PJ of pipeline quality gas; and Approx. 25 MW (net) of electrical power.

Gladstone Renewable Hydrogen Facility

The move will see the establishment of AGN’s A$4.2 million* hydrogen plant in Gladstone, on the State’s central coast. AGN is part of the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG), and now sees hydrogen projects being developed across four Australian States.

Clarke Creek Wind & Solar Farm Project

Located 150 km north west of Rockhampton and 150km south of Mackay in the Isaac Shire and Livingstone Shire areas. The project has received necessary State and Federal Government approvals to develop: up to 195 wind turbines with a power output over 800 MW, between 200 MW and 400 MW of solar power, and battery energy storage.

Gladstone has been announced as the host of a new renewable hydrogen production hub, that will see the construction of a multi-billion dollar H2-Hub Gladstone facility that will produce renewable hydrogen as both a source of zero emissions gas and for use in the production of ammonia.
