Project Management Essentials Workshop
Many organisations generate their revenue mainly through delivery of projects. Project management is a critical skill needed by these organisations to ensure their projects are successfully delivered.
This course focuses on the fundamentals of Project Management. It is designed to cover the essential Project Management skills needed to manage projects efficiently. In this course the participants gain insight into project lifecycle and the role and responsibilities of a project manager as well as the key Project Management activities such as project selection, project planning, project monitoring, risk management and project closure. This course also addresses some of the non-technical skills needed to create an engaged team.
This course benefits project managers, deputy project managers, team leaders as well as future project managers who are engaged in day-to-day project operations.

Upon completion of this course, participants will understand key elements of Project Management including writing a project plan, monitoring the progress of a project, managing changes and risks as well as conducting lessons learnt, and working in a team.
As learning in action results in a greater understanding of the subject, at the end of the course the participants will be given an optional self-assessed assignment based on the topics covered in this course.
Moein is a Chartered Professional engineer (CPEng) and a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). He has over 30 years of experience in design, construction & project management of infrastructure projects that comprise road, wet and dry utilities, airport infrastructure, bridges, tunnels and metro. During his career he has also been responsible for setting up of engineering offices, rescuing struggling departments and putting problematic projects back on track.
Now, as the Principal Consultant at Global Empowering Solutions, he supports Consulting Firms and Contractors to position themselves for project success and achieve higher levels of project profitability.
