CQ Supply Chain Mapping Project Briefing – Fully booked
Strengthening Central Queensland Local Supply Chains
Central Queensland is seeing a wave of new project development that is opening opportunities for emerging and established industries and their supply chains.
The Australian Government, through the Net Zero Economy Authority (NZEA), has commissioned Acclimate Partners, with CQUniversity and Hewitt & Co, in partnership with the Gladstone Engineering Alliance, to map and showcase Central Queensland’s industrial ecosystem and its suppliers. This work supports investment attraction, development of new partnerships across the region and understanding of potential gaps.
Our team has been engaging with industry across the region to understand barriers and opportunities for strengthening local supplier participation. We are holding workshops to explore the insights from this engagement and discuss local supply chain constraints. This will inform a regional capability map that showcases local suppliers and will demonstrate the region’s capability and capacity to future investors.
Your organisation has been selected as an important contributor to this process which will help to:
- Give project developers, industrial operators, low carbon liquid fuel manufacturers and investors a clear understanding of the region’s capabilities and capacity
- Strengthen local supply chains by identifying the partnerships and development needed to capture procurement opportunities in the region
