Alison Murdoch’s Appointment as General Manager: A New Chapter for GEA

We’re thrilled to announce we have newly appointed the wonderful Alison Murdoch to the position of Gladstone Engineering Alliance’s General Manager!

Alison steps into her new role as the driving force behind GEA, where she’ll oversee all aspects of our organisation’s operations. With a rich history of leadership and an impressive skill set, Alison is well poised to take GEA to new heights.

Alison brings with her a wealth of experience, having previously served as the General Manager at Gladstone Seafarers Centre, Campus Coordinator at CQUniversity Gladstone, and as the Vice-President at Gladstone Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI).

With a career spanning across Non-for-Profit, Higher Education, Vocational Training, Primary School Education, and Customer Service industries, Alison has honed her skills to become a resourceful, energetic, and highly competent leader.

Alison’s journey hasn’t been limited to the professional sphere alone. Before her arrival in Gladstone in 2007, she and her husband owned and operated a Mango Farm, where she managed everything from financial accounts to customer service, business planning, logistics, marketing, and ensuring an efficient office environment. Her expertise also extended to horticulture, chemical handling/pest control, risk management, and health and safety responsibilities.

Alison’s strong and effective work ethic has opened doors to countless opportunities, and we can’t wait to see her visionary leadership propel GEA to even greater achievements.
